The Competition

We are excited to announce we will be hosting our first competition in conjunction with our 1 year Anniversary! Sea Dog Summer Showdown will be an annual competition. We will be hosting the competition this year onsite at our gym and surrounding premises. The competition will be 2 person teams M/M or F/F with 3 divisions: RX, Scaled, and Intermediate. We are limiting the teams to 50 teams – due to space is limited, sign up early to reserve your spot!

More Event Info

We will have a vendor area with products that support all forms of health and wellness. We will also have several local businesses to promote our community, including various animal/dog corporations. Businesses within the Bluffs Shopping Center will have promotions for both athletes and spectators, so please check out these local companies for food and beverages and even apparel!

We are utilizing part of the premises and parking for the competition, vendor area, and "athlete village;" we ask that all athletes park across the street in public parking at Marcinskl Park. You can drop off your items prior to parking. We will have restrooms accessible behind CrossFit Sea Dog (unit 312) and there are also public restrooms at Marcinski park.

Sea Dog Summer Showdown sponsors and vendor fees will be donated to The Warriors Choice Foundation (WCF). WCF was created by veterans to help combat veterans who suffer from PTSD and mental illness. Their service dog program provides combat veterans with highly trained Belgian Malinois canines that assist with physical and emotional independence. They also off wellness retreats in South Florida that promote relaxation and inner harmony. All services are provided at no cost. Their goal is to help those who have honorably served and protected our country.
